A naturally formulated handmade soap, containing Manuka Honey, Organic Oats and Mandarin to effectively cleanse the hands, body and face, without drying out the skin.

SKIN TYPE

Ideal for dry irritated skin but can be used on all skin types. The combination of Manuka Honey which is reputed to aid the skin barrier against disrupted skin conditions to include dermatitis (eczema), acne, and psoriasis combined with the addition of Mandarin and organic oats to soothe and soften the skin.

AROMA

Uplifting citrus blend reminiscent of Orange Blossom.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Wheat Germ Oil, Sunflower (Seed) Oil, essential oils of Sweet Orange, Mandarin, Manuka Honey and Organic Oats.+

FULL INGREDIENTS

Extra Virgin Olive Oil: renowned for its exceptional nourishing benefits, containing vitamins A,E,D and K, helping to maintain the smooth and suppleness of the skin. It has the ability to reduce inflammation, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin, and is a powerful natural antioxidant supporting your skin in maintaining a healthy and radiant glow.

Coconut Oil: is anti-bacterial and brings good cleansing properties to the skin. It adds a luscious rich lather to handmade soaps whilst improving hydration. Coconut oil is known to provide light moisturising qualities to improve the softness of the skin.

Shea Butter: rich in essential fatty acids which are easily absorbed by the skin, contains vitamin A and E helping to protect the skin from environmental factors, effective conditioning, and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to soothe and hydrate.

Cocoa Butter: has great conditioning and hydrating properties, as it is rich in essential fatty acids that nourish and protect the skin. It has excellent soothing benefits making it ideal for those with sensitive skin and is a powerful natural antioxidant helping to keep your skin looking youthful and healthy.

Wheat Germ Oil: is thought to be one of nature’s best sources of vitamin E. It has effective healing and conditioning properties, helping to rejuvenate the skin.

Sunflower (Seed) Oil: rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that studies have shown can help maintain skin’s natural moisture barrier, helping to prevent water loss and keep moisture in. It is shown to have anti-inflammatory benefits making it ideal for those with sensitive skin.

Manuka Honey: is produced in New Zealand by bees gathering nectar from the Manuka Bush. Unlike other honey, Manuka contains photo-chemicals derived from plants that provide the highest natural antibacterial properties. Honey is also an antiseptic and contains essential vitamins and minerals.

Organic Oatmeal: is a mild cleanser due to its natural ability to foam. Oats have moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties and are useful in soothing eczema and all types of irritated, itchy skin conditions.

Mandarin Oil: is gentle and calming and is ideally suited to young infants and the elderly. Mandarin oil is known to have antiseptic and skin rejuvenating qualities.

Sweet Orange: is a cheerful and mood enhancing essential oil, with anti inflammatory, circulation-boosting and anti-bacterial properties.

Have been a mechanic for 16 years and suffer with dry skin related problems. Since trying this soap once a day they have completely disappeared. Great soaps all round. Recently bought a selection of all the soaps and the are all amazing. Especially like the Manuka Honey!! … Life time customer would never use anything else !! Try it you will see !!

I’ve been buying this soap for around 6 months now. I originally tried it as I was getting a form of dermatitis (not officially diagnosed) on my hands leaving them very dry, splitting and sore due to copious amounts of hand washing. Originally within a few weeks it made my hands a lot less sore and less red within 2 weeks, I love it. My hands have flared up again recently but this soap really helps keep it in check and I find it quite soothing to use. I also love that it comes plastic free and has whole oats in.   Hi Charlotte, we are so pleased that this Manuka soap is helping to improve your dermatitis condition after all that hand washing. Just to explain our soap formulation is made with a high concentration of squalane, a lipid (or fat) to help hydrate and maintain the barrier of the skin. Our handmade soap contains valuable emollient properties, naturally sealing in moisture and can aid in skin care problems when the skin barrier is disrupted to include dermatitis (eczema), acne and psoriasis. Then there is, of course, the Manuka Honey a powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and humectant. The soap is then completed with the addition of essential oils to complement the formulation and organic oats to soothe and soften the skin. We would also recommend the Lavender & Chamomile another time.

This soap is so beautiful, it’s very nicely packaged and smells divine- a perfect christmas present for family! I have been buying from Second Nature Soaps for a very long time. I love the Manuka Honey soap as it is mild and gentle on my elderly skin yet cleanses and removes dead skin beautifully. I found this soap invaluable during Covid. It doesn’t dry the skin out, I think it is terrific, it’s my absolute favourite.
