Coconut Oil: is anti-bacterial and brings good cleansing properties to the skin.  It adds a luscious rich lather to handmade soaps whilst improving hydration.  Coconut oil is known to provide light moisturising qualities to improve the softness of the skin.

Shea Butter: rich in essential fatty acids which are easily absorbed by the skin, contains vitamin A and E helping to protect the skin from environmental factors, effective conditioning, and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to soothe and hydrate.

Cocoa Butter:  has great conditioning and hydrating properties, as it is rich in essential fatty acids that nourish and protect the skin. It has excellent soothing benefits making it ideal for those with sensitive skin and is a powerful natural antioxidant helping to keep your skin looking youthful and healthy.

Wheat Germ Oil: is thought to be one of nature’s best sources of vitamin E.  It has effective healing and conditioning properties, helping to rejuvenate the skin.

Sunflower (Seed) Oil: rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that studies have shown can help maintain skin’s natural moisture barrier, helping to prevent water loss and keep moisture in. It is shown to have anti-inflammatory benefits making it ideal for those with sensitive skin.

Sweet Orange: is a cheerful and mood-enhancing essential oil, with anti-inflammatory, circulation-boosting, and anti-bacterial properties.

Cinnamon Leaf: its warm and spicy fragrance aids poor circulation and muscular aches and pains.  It is also a natural antiseptic and insect repellent.

Black Pepper: is an effective antispasmodic giving good relief to muscle cramps, pulls, and spasms.  It is warming, stimulating, and improves circulation, and is thought to bring relief to rheumatism and arthritis.  It is an antioxidant protecting the skin against outside elements as well as having anti-bacterial properties.
